❓ Frequently asked questions
Is PermisoFácil available in Spanish?
Yes. You can switch between English and Spanish with the button at the top. Your progress and Premium work in both languages. The New Jersey MVC also offers the knowledge test in Spanish and other languages.
Are these the same questions as the real test?
They aren't copies of the test. All of them are based on the official 2026 NJ MVC manuals and cover the same topics. PermisoFácil is independent and not affiliated with the NJ MVC.
What is the E-Bike / Moped test like, and who needs it?
You need it if you are 15 or older and do not have an NJ driver license (with a valid NJ license you can already ride any e-bike; you only register the bike). It's a written test with questions from the E-bike and Moped Manual and the NJ Driver Manual, including signs, plus a vision test. If you don't pass, you can retest in 7 days. The MVC doesn't publish how many questions it has, so it's best to practice them all. On PermisoFácil, the free version has practice tests of 20 or 35 questions; with Premium you can choose 20, 50 or all of them. See the full steps.
How many questions are on the car permit test?
50 questions, and you need 40 correct (80%) to pass. With Premium you can practice a full 50-question test.
How long does Premium last? Will I be charged again?
It lasts 6 months from purchase. It's a one-time payment: it isn't a subscription and you are never charged again.
What is smart review?
A spaced repetition method: questions you miss come up more often, and those you've mastered come up less and less. That way you review exactly what you are about to forget.
Do I need internet to study?
Only the first time. If you install the app on your phone, you can then study offline, with Premium too.
